(Clovis News Journal) BNSF Railway will take over operation of the rail line between Clovis and Carlsbad starting next year, following an agreement between BNSF and Southwestern Railroad (SWRR).
SWRR has been operating the line since 2004. The transition will take effect Jan. 17, according to the notice sent out to Clovis-Carlsbad rail line customers. Continued
